Present: John Wright, Tim Adams, Dick Edmonds, Deb Mckinney, Dan Roy, Jeremy Hall, Shawn Mullen and Alan Hurst
Call to Order: John Wright called the meeting to order
Approval of the minutes of the May 3rd Regular Meeting
Dan Roy motioned to approve the minutes. Deb Mckinney seconded. All approved.
Audience of Citizens: Sarah Riddell, Patty Karabetsos, Emily Cronin, Kathy Blachowski
Communications: Seamster Park proposals
Unfinished Business
Jeremy Hall presented the options we have for the playground project. Board Members and members of the public made comments and suggestions about the project. Jeremy will continue working on the project and the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board will schedule another meeting next month to discuss this further.
- Fundraising for Seamster Park
Jeremy Hall presented a number of different fund raising options for the playground project.
Jeremy Hall went over the plans for the improvements on the parking lots at Sears Park.
- Cowan Party at Sears Park: There is a party with 100+ guests that would like to request use of the park. Dan Roy motioned to approve the request and Deb Mckinney seconded. All approved.
New Business
Shawn Mullen gave an update on the status of Parks and Recreation Programs.
- Special Meeting for Seamster Park in July
Dan Roy motioned to have a special meeting in July. Tim Adams seconded the motion. All approved.
Shawn Mullen went over schedules and the plan for summer staffing.
